A little bit about gliding . . .
Using rising currents of air to keep the glider airborne, the
experienced glider pilot is able to soar like a bird, silently exploring
the skies, often covering many miles before returning home several hours
later. For some pilots, gliding is simply about enjoying the freedom of the skies, whilst others choose to fly cross country, perform aerobatics or take part in competitions. Whatever your own personal goals, gliding can offer you a lifetime of pleasure and fun; it's a sport which can always offer new experiences, provide stimulating and demanding challenges and give an unrivalled sense of personal achievement.
