How to Find Us . . .

Situated in East Staffordshire, in the Heart of the Midlands, the Club is located midway between the market towns of Uttoxeter, Lichfield and Burton on Trent.  Being within a few minutes drive of both the A38 and A50 trunk roads, means that the club is also within easy reach of the West Midlands, Stoke on Trent and Derby.

 
Visiting by Road . . .

From the A515 (travelling north):

Approximately 1.5 miles north of Yoxall village, turn left at the Foresters Arms public house.  At the next junction (5 roads converge here), follow the sign for NFGC by taking the 2nd right turn and follow this road for about 1 mile.  You will find the site entrance on your left.  

From the A38 (travelling north or south):
Leave the A38 at the Barton under Needwood turn, take the B5016 through Barton under Needwood to Yoxall.  At the T junction in Yoxall village turn right onto the A515 and follow the directions given above for A515 travelling north.

   

From the A515 (travelling south):
Approximately 4½ miles south of Draycott village, turn right at the Foresters Arms public house.  At the next junction (5 roads converge here), follow the sign for NFGC by taking the 2nd right turn and follow this road for about 1 mile.  You will find the site entrance on your left.  

From the A50 (travelling east or west):
Leave the A50 at the Sudbury island, take the A515 southbound for Lichfield and follow the directions given above for A515 travelling south.

   

Visiting by Air . . .

Visiting gliders are welcome by air or road, but please note that Cross Hayes Field does not have planning consent for use by motor gliders, light aircraft, helicopters or microlights.  All gliders launching from Cross Hayes must carry proof of adequate 3rd party insurance cover.
