From the anticipation of your first solo flight to the challenge of cross country flying or the exhilaration of aerobatics, gliding is a sport which can offer an unrivalled sense of achievement and satisfaction.

It isn't difficult to learn to become a glider pilot, nor do you need to learn a great deal of technical theory.  If you've never tried it before, why not come along for a Trial Lesson and see what our sport can offer you?  You don't need to pre-book - just turn up on any club flying day and tell us you'd like to have a go!

Your First Visit
Unsure of what to expect - from where to go and what to wear, to what expect on your first flight, this page tells you all about it.

Learning to Glide
So you enjoyed your first flight and would like to learn more.  From joining the club to going solo and beyond - here's all the info you need.
